50 Rejected Merit Badges, Info Cards
A deck of 50 cards could be really cool, or really boring. I decided to make mine as entertaining as possible. I grew up in the Boy Scout program, I thought it would be fun to reminisce a little with this project.
Speak Up
For this project I wanted to focus on the risks associated with the exercise of free speech. It is increasingly dangerous to voice your opinion or protest policies you don’t agree with. Free speech on the internet is being locked down, tracked, and controlled.
The “Babe”
Good shape design is a challenge. I chose to work with a Babe Ruth photo because of my love for this favorite American pastime. Side note: I played baseball for several years, I also played all positions.
Pet Project
Over 100 photo variations of the same object. This project was a real challenge because it pushed me to try new things, to think in new ways that I hadn’t before. Each week of photos was a test to see “what now?” or “what if?…”
Alexander Calder SFMOMA Booklet
Alexander Calder is one of the most prolific American artists, he is the father of the mobile and public metal sculptures. With over 26,000 pieces of art it was a challenge to encapsulate his life in a 16 page spread.

With three kids I am surrounded by toys all the time. I couldn’t help but notice letters were all around me as well.
